Career Opportunity: Customer Service Representative

Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative will act as a liaison between the Charter Steel's external customers, and the production floor to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders, and maintain customer satisfaction. The Customer Service Representative's key responsibilities will be to partner with the outside sales team and other internal teams to develop an in-depth knowledge of their customer and multiple product offerings in order to understanding pricing, follow up on leads and quotes, manage inventory levels and shipping requirements. The successful candidate will have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment at the same time provide fast, friendly, and flawless service to the customer.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED
• Ability to organize and prioritize requests made from internal and external customers
• Ability to solve problems and make quick decisions within set parameters
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively work and lead in a team environment
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to analyze data and summarize results
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with internal and external customers
• Demonstrated software application skills specifically in Word and Excel
• Previous experience in Customer Service, Inside Sales or Customer Support roles
