Career Opportunity: Entry Level Engineering - Project Specialist

Position Summary

Charter has several openings for entry level engineers through our Project Specialist Rotational Program. This fulltime rotational position will concentrate assignments in the operations areas of Charter Manufacturing. The Project Specialist role is a great opportunity for a college graduate to learn the many facets of Charter Manufacturing and how their area of study fits within the business. Rotational assignments will last approximately 18 to 24 months and may be at multiple locations or in multiple states with each rotation lasting approximately 6 months. During this time the Project Specialist will have specific projects to work on individually, as well as working with cross functional teams within the business. They will be immersed into the operations function as an integral part of the business. The will have a direct manager during each rotation as well as Mentor to follow them throughout the program. At the end of the rotational assignment, the individual will be placed in a role in the business that matches their interests and talents.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related Discipline
• High Level of initiative for excellence, results and process improvement
• Excellent presentation skills with solid verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Demonstrated abilities in planning and communication of ideas and concepts
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with individuals at all levels of the business
• Strong computer skills with the ability to take concepts and develop presentations
• Ability to move during rotational assignments
